Featuring a concert by the Count Basie Orchestra with Patti Austin.

Followed by Dancing and After Party with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.

Jump and jjive with two of the Big Band era's most enduring names in one swinging night at Strathmore!  Fine-tuned and fabulous, the legendary Count Basie Orchestra shows it's 17-Grammy winning stuff, with Patti Autin's honeyed vocals that caress the melodies that define the American Songbook.  After the concert, slide out to the lobby and dance to the music of the great Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, and standards like "Stardust," "Boogie Woogie," Night Train," and "Night and Day"  It's an unforgettable celebration at Strathmore -- and best of all, ticket proceeds from the evening support Strathmore's artistic and education programming.
