The Tip Toppers provide a holiday party in December for the residents of the Evangelical Children's Home. Many of the children staying at the home have suffered severe physical, sexual and emotional abuse and neglect. Some are suicidal or severely depressed. This is the only holiday party for these children, between ages 6-17. The Chairperson for this annual event accepts gift bag and cash donations throughout the year. Gift bag donations are requested in quantities of 75 each, or in quantities of 40 of each if the donated item is gender-specific.

For more information on this event, please call the Tip Topper hotline at 314-286-5589 and leave a message for the Chairperson of this event.

The St. Louis Tall Club is proud to participate in the Variety Club Telethon each year. The Variety Club reaches out to more than 200,000 disabled and disadvantaged children in the Greater St. Louis area each year. They provide funding for essential medical equipment such as wheelchairs, prostheses, leg braces, hearing aids and augmentative speech equipment.

The Tip Toppers take part in Old Newsboys Day each November. This is the Suburban Journals' annual fundraising event that benefits over 300 local children's charities. Donations are generated from the sales of a special edition of the Suburban Journals. The paper is sold by volunteers, the Tip Toppers among them, at hundreds of street corner locations throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.
