The Website created for the Redwood Empire Tall Club (RETC) shall not post its member's or any person's home address or phone number unless the website provides login security to limit access to Tall Club Members only, or if a person revokes his or her privacy rights via a permission statement form available from the club.  The only phone numbers or addresses that may be posted are those of businesses or public meeting places.  The only exception is for documents setup as download links where the document may contain home phone numbers and addresses but are not visible on the Club Web Site and only the download link is visible. If an RETC document is submitted for posting, an approval by an RETC Officer other than the Club Webmaster is required to have it posted on the Club Website.  Approval by e-mail or in writing is acceptable for this purpose. Regarding the posting of e-mail addresses on the Club Website:  When a person provides an e-mail address to the club via any method it shall be assumed to be an authorization for posting that addresses as a means of contact on the Club Website, unless that person requests otherwise. It is the responsibility of the Club Webmaster to administer this policy.
