Membership

Requirements:

Regular Members

Women must be a minimum of five feet, ten inches (5”10”) in height; men must be a minimum of six feet, two inches (6”2”) in height.  All measurements shall be made in stocking feet with unadorned head by two officers of the club at an official club function.

The minimum age requirement shall be 21.

Associate Member

Any person who does not meet the height and/or age requirements who is married to a regular member may become an associate member upon paying dues.

Associate members may attend social functions of the club with their spouse but shall have no vote in the affairs of the Club.

Privileges of Membership:

Membership entitles individual to attend club functions at a reduced cost.  Members are entitled to attend closed events of other Tall Clubs International member clubs.  (There are 4 other clubs in Northern California).  Members may also attend TCI Convention and Weekend Events sponsored by Member Clubs.  Members without e-mail capability will receive a copy of the “Redwood Empire Grapevine”, the club newsletter, by mail, which is generally published monthly.    

Membership Fees:

Regular and Associate Members with renewals due on October 1^st each year:

Single: $25 per year

Married Couple:  $35 per year

The link provided below is an online convenient membership application.  By completing the form there is no guarantee that your membership will become active.  An applicant’s height  must be measured by an RETC Officer at one of our social or business events.   Once completed and a majority of the RETC Officers vote to accept the applicant, membership dues become due.  Do not make payment of dues until asked to do so by an RETC Officer.   Current officers are posted on the Officers Link above.

The data entered on the Membership Application is sent via e-mail to an officer of RETC.  If you are accepted for membership, you are giving the RETC Membership Chairperson permission to distribute personal information that you submitted in the form of a Membership Roster intended for members only.  If you would prefer that your home address or phone number be kept CONFIDENTIAL to officers only please indicate so in the Box entitled “How did you hear about us”.  By including an e-mail address on the form you give RETC permission to send notifications of upcoming events and other announcements.
